Ed finished up the last of the grinding of the interior of the hull, taking off the high spots on the curve of the bilge from the planking strips. Filling the interior space of Shop2 with fine wood dust in the process making it necessary to wear a dust mask.

Grinding comes to an end
The excess stem material was trimmed off, with Keith having the honors of sawing and grinding.

Finishing the stem
Now that the interior was fair it was time to seal the wood with a hot coat of polyester resin.

Roller at the ready

All cleaned out and ready to go

Hot coating the interior
With Ed working the sides to the sheer and Keith working the bottom Travis had to keep on his toes to deliver resin as fast as it could be mixed.

Keith and Ed hot coating

All sealed up

Glad that is over with
Up next: Fiber-glassing the interior.
