The time has come to start finishing the exterior of the hull.  No doubt there is some more final finish sanding to be done to get every single scratch and mark from the hull and a primer coat needs to be applied.  We decided to use the same paint that would be our top coat, just to really highlight everything and get a sense of what the finished product would look like, giving us enough time to rethink the color if it just wasn’t going to work out.

Ed decided on a Toplac finish in Mauritius Blue which looked great right from out of the can.

The final color combination certainly made Ed happy and it really works well together.
