The weather has been holding out quite fantastic so far, but I fear that things will change any day now.

When we got to Shop2 the clamps were begging to be removed, so what other choice did we have other than comply?  A nice rugged sheerline is what we had after the final clamp was removed, the resounding BONG BONG BONG was a very nice sound indeed.  Instantly we set the starboard side into place and glued, screwed and clamped that one as well.

Once installed we could now turn our attention to putting the final touches on our hull, using the Black & Decker, hand boards and the long board to get the shape we desired.  Smoothing planks, truing up the stem and making the stern one solid flat plane.  At the end of our efforts, when the dust finally settled, we saw that almost all of the Rage that we had applied had been removed.

At the end of the day we snapped a centerline and vacuumed the hull, getting all of the dust we could and all we could find on the floor, no one likes tracking smurf dust everywhere.

Now that we have a hull, what are we going to cover it with?

We are still deciding that one…
