Today was a long day.  The time had finally come to bend the outer stem into place.

Before laminating it was decided that it would be best if the strips be bent into place and let set, so as to gain a memory to help the process.

The next piece of the puzzle is to install the king plank, ensuring a solid flat back bone.

Some quick scribing and careful cutting and the king plank slid into position.  Time to bond the stem to the hull.

After all this work we realized something.  That the hull is a little too high to work on so we had a lowering party, which went really well.  Just taking the saw horses and support legs out from underneath the strongback freed up 16 inches allowing easy access to the keel without overextending.

A very nice height indeed.
